Fab Finds Tuesday via J5MM.com

  1. I have hearted this sweatshirt for so long and especially now even more so since winter glamping is right around the corner.  Maybe I will put it on my wish list for Santa this year — I especially love the red color here
  2. I’ve got a serious love for icebox cake.  So simple to make and this “Pumpkin Mouse” version would be perfect after a hearty Thanksgiving dinner.  Find it here
  3. Yesterday while perusing the isles at Trader Joes, my coat belt loop snagged a display of these little cinnamon scented hand broom/whisks.  The entire display came crashing down and I was so embarrassed.  I am sure my face was as red as an over ripe heirloom tomato!  Luckily there was a mom with her two sweet kids who, after seeing my embarrassment, were gently coaxed to come over and help me pick up the bazillion little whisks strewn all over the floor.  It was then when the two kids remembered these whisks and happily reminded their mom about them.  “Mommy!  It’s the cinnamon whisks!  Remember?!”  Needless to say I was intrigued by their excitement, so for $1.00 I bought one.  I opened the package in the car and it smelled just like the holidays — cinnamon!  I can’t wait to hang it in the Airstream.  After reading this blog post about the whisks I’m thinking I would love a broom too!
  4. If you’re a winter glamper, flannel sheets in your RV/trailer are-a-must.  When nighttime falls and the outdoors are super chilly, there is no better feeling than crawling into your warm soft bed made so by flannel sheets.  To compliment the winter glamping experience, I think these sheets would be perfect :) Find this cute set here

Three more days till Friday!

Thank you for being here ~

xoxo

Fab Finds Tuesday // RV Acccessories via J5MM.com

  1. If there was every a one-pot-wonder — this is it.  Small yet mighty — perfect for making soup for two, sweet and savory sauces, puddings and morning oats.  It is the perfect little deep frying vessel because it is just the right size to keep things under control.  Take for example these Fall Apple Pumpkin Fritters I made.  Heavenly I tell you — Heavenly :)  But mostly I use it to make breakfast porridge for B and the clean up is quite amazing.  Find it here
  2. Pumpkin Carving Templates :) B wants to carve out the trailer one and I am in love with the campfire scene — these are by far the cutest glamping and camping templates I have ever seen — from KOA
  3. I will admit, I have gone through more coffee making devices than I care to admit on the Airstream but when ordering more capsules for my Nespresso maker (that USED to be on the Airstream and since moved it indoors because it was a little too big for the Airstream counter) I discovered this little gem.  Tiny and space saving and the price can’t be beat — $99.00.  I was sold on the red one.  Check out all the colors (blue, white, cream, and more) here
  4. I’m not really a big fan of cornbread — mine always turns out so crumbly and dry and well — this recipe may be my saving grace.  Can’t wait to try!  Find it here

  1. When we took our silver girl into the local Airstream dealership to have some warranty work done, I spied this cute canine collar and leash set in the store.  Looking up online, I also discovered this super cute ornament — perfect for the upcoming holiday season for you — or the glamper in your life // Ornament, Collar and Leash :)
  2. Keep your eye out on this Seattle artist — Katie Marks.  I heart her and her beautiful work.  This mug is only the first in my collection // from Silver Lining Ceramics
  3. Cast iron skillet Mac and Cheese?  Say no more! // Recipe by:  Spoon Fork Bacon
  4. There is no link for this one — oh how I tried to find one — but get in the car now and drive to your nearest Target (or call first) and pick up a pair of these super soft “Pink Flamingos On Ice,” glamping jammies for the chilly weather ahead // By Nick and Nora

Suddenly Last Summer with our Airstream via J5MM.com

Fall is upon us now and the other day, it suddenly dawned on me, that last summer — a lot of cooking had been done in my silver kitchen which never made it onto J5MM.  Pouring over all my photos I took of my culinary creations made me realize also — what a beautiful, gloriously long summer we had here in Washington.  The warm breezes continue to blow, even now in what should be a chilly October.  We have our funny days where temps reach 80!  But today will be a nice mid 60’s October day according to the weather woman.  I’m ready for warm sweaters in the upcoming season and exhilarating early morning hikes where the frost graces the edges of the creek near my home.
