Wine Labels for Halloween

Are you attending a Halloween party this year?  Do you love to decorate your Airstream for the Halloween season?  If so, I encourage you to make this as a Halloween gift or as a decoration for your own Airstream/dwelling during this time of year.

Thank you to Love Manor for some awesome (repeat: awesome!) Halloween graphics.

Please, do come in!

First, I soaked some wine bottles overnight in our bathroom sink so the labels would slip off nicely . . .

Then I printed off these free lables from Love Manor on our color printer and cut them out (you can find the graphics at the end of this post).

Took this little tool from Tim Holtz and roughed up the edges of the labels but a sharp knife or razor (becareful!) would work perfect!

Grabbed myself some Modge Podge and a sponge brush and got to work . . .

Coat your bottle with Modge Podge and affix your label . . .

Cover your label with a generous amount of Modge Podge . . .

Let your bottles dry (takes about 2 hours) . . . Here is how they look before they are dry.  Make sure to wash off your sponge brush as it is SUPER easy to clean when the Modge Podge is wet…..once it’s dry on your brush, forget about cleaning it.

Once dried, take a fork and scrape off the Modge Podge “here and there,” as it will give your bottle a very old feel to it like it has to mine here . . .

Here are the graphics.  If you right click on them with your mouse and select “copy” and then “paste” them into a blank Word document, they will print up beautifully. I would also like to mention that I was very pleased with the outcome of the wine bottle with the “red” seal as it matched the red on the label perfectly.   Enjoy :)
