With a hop, skip and a jump we hitch up the Airstream and hit the road.
We travel through yellow Canola fields in Eastern Washington while slowly meandering down the road enjoying every moment.
We stay in McCall, Idaho at the Northfork Lodge and McCall RV park. It’s one of our favorites places to stay.
We just can’t decide which season we prefer — summer or winter . . .
We stay here in summer this time, the week before the 4th of July weekend.
We slip into site #66 (we hear its one of the best).
When we arrive, it’s late so I retreat into my silver kitchen and pull out my beloved cast iron skillet. I make dinner. In my Airstream freezer is a fillet of fish from the San Juan Islands. A very special fillet indeed. A fish that B caught during our last trip. I make fish burgers for our dinner. Crispy, flaky, tender fish fillets dressed in melted cheese that lay in between a soft poppy seed bun.
“Mommy, this is so yummy,” proclaims B.
“You caught our yummy dinner,” I remind him.
And he smiles {big} ♥
During our stay in McCall, we take a three day trip with Hells Canyon Raft. When we return, we spend one more day at the resort before hitching up and hitting the road again.
We discover old history and beauty along our journey and we also find some pretty campsites too ♥

The moon at Kahneeta is ever present and the sunrises over Mt. Jefferson gives a feeling of pure tranquility . . .
Our last morning during our summer trip, I make an easy breakfast radish spread and off we go . . .
Thank you for being in our world ♥ I hope we inspire you . . .
