They say that if you don’t try, you’ll never know. This quote gets me every time and hangs on my home office wall. It reminds me that if I let fear stand in the way of my hopes and dreams, I may never know what “could be,” and that could haunt me for a long time.
So in 2014, I believed that if I worked super hard, good things would come (and boy did they). I’ve made new friends from all over the world thanks to J5MM and have received some of the most sweetest comments that literally brought tears to my eyes. It’s a passion this blog of mine and I’m so happy to have you all here in my world.
During this beautiful December, not only did I experience a peaceful Christmas with sweet handmade gifts from B, I received a very special gift of a very different sort. This gift came from the RVing coalition — GoRVing.com when they reached out to me. They happen to think I am pretty good at what I do here on J5MM and asked if I would like to become a blogger for them and share some of our adventures and RVing domesticity with their readership. I was so completely flattered and so very happy. I mean, this was Go RVing, they are “THE” RVing coalition. I will admit, hubby had to pull me down hard from cloud nine ;)
So without further adieu, here is my very first post for GRV. I hope you like it and share it. It’s full of recipes and a great DIY for gifts that would be perfect for any time of the year: It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
Thank you for being here. It means so much to me and I truly hope you are having a resultful and peaceful holiday season XOXO
i don’t usually follow blogs and I would not normally post a comment but I can’t help myself here! Your blog is truly amazing and such a joy to follow. Congratulations i’m being discovered by go RVing. They are lucky to have you. Looking forward to more of your adventures and recipes in 2015. Happy new year.
This means so much to me — thank you Megan. Thank you so much !!
I have followed your blog for a year in preparation of my 2015 travels and get so excited when you make a post – it is always fun, informative, beautiful and different than any other RV blogs – which I admire.
I was so excited when I saw your article on GoRving, I felt like your mom, so proud of you, because you have come into my personal space for a year – well maybe a foster mom – anyway, you outdid yourself! I posted a long response, but it did not show, so am writing you now.
What I predict for you is being discovered by a Cooking Show – how wonderful it would be to have an RV chef making your fantastic food in a tiny kitchen. Your photography is stunning – takes my breath away and I say wow out loud, with just my dog near by.
Right now I have your Chicken Stew on my stove….I wish I had the stuff for the pop-overs, but it’s a start!!
What a great mom and wife you must be. I consider it an honor to be able to get a peek into your life.
You have a great future….keep floating on that cloud 9.
Words can’t even begin to describe the happiness you brought me with your super sweet words! I think I read your comment about five times and shared it with hubby too. I am so deeply touched and want to thank you for making me smile big. Honestly. Thank you so much, your kind words will forever be with me! Wishing you a happy shiny New Year — xoxo Monica
