A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by Outside Magazine asking if I would be interested in doing an interview about my Airstream cooking adventures.  I was so flattered and am completely beside myself with how the piece turned out.  I love it.

I hope you like it too if you have a chance to read it.

This is a huge honor for me.

Thank you my friends and here is the link to it:  How To Cook Delicious Meals In An Airstream

  1. Woo-hoo! We are Airstreaming it right now. I love seeing how creative you are on your little stove.

  2. As a follower of your blog and an Outside reader I am not surprised they connected with you. Your pictures and recipes are inspirational and well composed to say the least! Great piece in Outside and you are absolutely right about discovering local food attributes and now have made it one of our travel objectives after reading the article. Thank you! P.S. attempting to make the Cast Iron Black Forest Ham and Egg Cups today.

    • Dusty, thanks so much for your kind words — you have totally made my day :) You are so sweet. Happy to hear you’re making the ham and eggs cups — they are really good — Bon Appetit xoxo

  3. A huge congratulations for the feature in Outside! We live in our Airstream part-time and I have found it relatively easy to still cook good meals. I just wish I had the 27′ instead of the 25′ for a little more countertop space (and someone to do the dishes for me). I love your recipes and ideas for trailer cooking. And, your blog inspired me to dress up our trailer so thank you for that, too.

    • Thank you Sarah for your sweet words, you are too kind and have totally made my day. I also agree about the, “someone to do the dishes for me.” At home hubby does the dishes after I cook but on the road, it’s a little different. That kitchen is mine and I have my system, but sometimes I feel like teaching him the system lol. Thank you for being here and reaching out — it means a lot to me. Happy shiny silver travels to you XOXO
