Plastic binds and plate shelves from the Container Store.  The bins are secured to the shelves with a cable tie.  Dishes are Corelle.

Magazine rack from the Container Store hanging off the shower door via cabinet hooks.  That’s a generator lantern hanging via a suction cup.

Hall Closet — added some plastic drawers for extra storage since we really don’t camp with clothing that needs to be hung up.

Our kitchen — I still need or order a few more of the wire insert shelves for the pull out.  Under the oven is our toaster and mini food processesor.  I should note that we keep the toaster in a plastic bag (to catch all the stray crumbs).  For washing dishes I use a foldable bamboo dish rack.  It folds up and slides into the compartment right above the pull out

Kitchen drawers — top drawer is for sharp knives, etc.  The second drawer below that is our “utensil” drawer for spatulas, whisks, etc.

Anytime we go out to a restaurant, we collect the little condiment packs.  Here is our collection in a couple of plastic boxes.

  1. Monica – what great ideas for organizing! I especially like the drawers in the closet and suction cups – I wouldn’t have thought of that! Thanks for the great ideas!!
