Our last night in Jackson Hole was spent at the world renowned Four Seasons Resort in Teton Village. Not only are the accommodations here extremely luxurious — the location of Four Seasons is right in the heart of Teton Village.
In summertime the lifts, just a few steps from the (one of many) entry ways to the Four Seasons continually run for avid mountain bikers taking them to new heights to experience heart pumping awesome trails. In the winter, those lifts turn into a fantastic ski-in and ski-out opportunity for the guests staying at this world class resort.
When lunchtime rolls around make sure to stop by the Handle Bar located at the ground level portion of the resort for mouth watering {gourmet} fare. If you’re a burger lover (like me) you can’t go wrong with ordering the burger to end all burgers called the “Handle Burger: made with America Wagyu beef, caramelized onions, mushrooms, blue cheese and (are you ready?) Truffle Aïoli.
It.
Was.
Amazing.
Or better yet — OUT of this WORLD.
Hubby had the Alaskan Cod Fish & Chips – Phyllo Crust, House-made Tartar Sauce, Lemon Wedges . . .
Accommodations at the Four Seasons in Jackson Hole run nothing short of luxuriously amazing. Attention to detail is the first thing I noticed when walking into our suite from the Nespresso Espresso Maker to the child size robes with slippers and personal child soaps and shampoos. Not to mention a sweet stuffed toy moose and a book about the “wild animal babies” born in the area which B enjoyed reading before bed (which I enjoyed listening to).
I immediately sensed that the Four Seasons Resort truly cares about their “family” guests and for me as a mother — this meant so much. B was really excited to be here.

The bathroom was incredibly spacious complete with soaps and shampoos from L’Occitane to some of the softest and fluffiest towels I have ever touched . . .

The following evening was going to be a special one for me. You see, a long time ago when visiting Jackson Hole with my dad he took me on a chuck wagon ride. After some research I discovered that the outfit we went with, back then was “Bar T-5,” and to my happiness I discovered they were still in business and going strong.
I could hardly wait to share this experience with B, as my dad did with me.
After a short introduction at the Bar T-5 camp, we hopped onto our horse drawn covered wagon.
With a team of horses hooked up, our wrangler guided us up Cache Creek Canyon where we enjoyed some pretty amazing views as well as a heart pounding, real time Indian attack on our wagons where our trusty cowboys helped fend them off. What a thrill that was – especially for B and the other children to see!
Once we reached camp we could smell the delicious food in the air as the cooks were putting the finishing touches on our delicious dutch oven dinner cooked on-site.
The chow line was mind blowing — fresh baked rolls, salad, Bar T-5’s famous baked beans (the same kind I had years ago!) and dutch oven cooked chicken and roast beef (with special gravy) complete with lemonade, water, coffee and/or hot chocolate. And — you can keep coming back for more!
As we were finishing up dinner the Bar T-5 Band started gearing up to give us a night of pure entertainment!
Bar T-5 really knows how to put on a great show and get the audience involved — it was a night to remember!

Tomorrow we pick up our Airstream and say goodbye to Jackson Hole as we make our way to Yellowstone National Park. I discovered the cutest market ever where I picked up some delicious local ingredients for some home cookin’ on the ‘Stream.

Well better late than never! Sunday, rainy so much more to see on your website…perfect (oh and my dog laying his head on my leg. I love, love this post. What a beautiful resort and story about a memory you shared with your dad and now with your family…ahhhh!
By the way I went to the Airstream website in Spokane yesterday….they really need your help on their site. Nice people, well liked, but …oh well…just had to get that off my chest.
I am saving other posts for another time because I want to savor the photos and story in my mind. This morning I have been to Torfino, Roseland and now here…..so fun.
