{ Please see my notes at the end of this post with some tips prior to getting started }
Just a few notes before you get started: The legs must be placed close to each other in the center as shown in my photos below — otherwise, if you place them far apart on either end of the board, the shelf-wont-fit. Also prior to towing, place a tea towel in between the gap of the shelf and the side of the upper cabinet. This way it won’t sway from side to side. During our trip to Idaho, one of my legs broke off. I fixed it and placed the towel there on the way home and it worked well. I think that if you don’t want to mess around with the towel business, you could just screw in four screws into each leg.
Great ideas! Love your style
Thank you Sandi !! XO
Monica, I LOVE this. I couldn’t figure out what to do with this cabinet. I am stealing this great idea. Thank you for sharing and for the great images (as always!!!). Cheers!!
Anna — you are the best, so happy I could inspire you to do the same !! Big {{{HUGS}}} to you XO
Great use of space and color, as usual! P.S. It’s getting closer to the end of March… ;-)
Diane, I am SO EXCITED for you !!! Honestly, SO VERY excited !!!
Hi Monica, I hope you had a safe trip to Sandpoint and your having a wonderful time! Can’t wait to hear what you think about it. The shelf in the cabinet is a great idea; I may have to do one too! :) I have to ask where you found those awesome canisters…you find the coolest things.
Safe travels thru Idaho!
Thanks Mary !! So happy you like those tins too — they are seriously cute in person and very light too. You can find them here: http://www.johnlewis.com/vintage-by-wayne-hemingway-storage-tin/p336666

So happy I could inspire :) xoxo Thanks Jess !!
I just came across your blog and I’m in love with your style and your Airstream. My husband and I travel for work and live in our fifth wheel, so I am always searching the internet for RV and camping bloggers. I have a question for you and you have maybe answered it, but I haven’t come across the answer and have to know. How do you have your Ipad mounted in your kitchen? I have cookbooks downloaded on mine so save space and I would love to add a mount in my kitchen for it. Thank you for your time spent on your blog. I will be back often. Happy Camping!
Hi Kayla — I secured the ipad to the wall with industrial strength velco. You can buy a pack for under $5.00 at your local craftstore. I bought mine at Michaels and they come in 2″ diameter circles that are adhesive so you stick one to the wall and the other to the back of the ipad and secure to the wall. I used four velcro circles on the back on my ipad and stuck the other four on the wall. Works really well!!
