Tea Time Airstream Style // via J5MM.com

Oh weekends — how thankful I am for them especially during this time of year.  Today was a glorious day in Seattle and I was able to steal a few hours away for myself and organize my silver girl readying her for our upcoming trip next weekend.  It’s funny how organizing her, also helps clear my mind and helps me focus.

We’re taking her on a trip that will take us to the  northwesternmost point of the contiguous United States — Cape Flattery here in Washington State. Photography opportunities should be incredible from all the photos I have seen on line so far and I can hardly wait.  I’m also looking forward to being (far) away from corporate America and spending quality, quiet time with the boys on the beach.

After pouring myself a cup of tea this afternoon, I flipped through some holiday recipe books in seek of inspiration for this weekend.  Needless to say, I was overcome with ideas so now I just need to put it all together and come up with the official menu.  The only ingredient I have purchased so far is the turkey breast (yikes)!  Thankfully I have a few more days to shop and prepare.

  2. Your Silver Girl is so cheerful with all the pretty colors! I love to see pics of your kitchen and can’t wait for you to share your culinary genius with this holiday! We have had to put our Airstream in it’s long winter’s sleep, but look forward to February when we wake her up and head south! Happy Thanksgiving! Sandi

  3. I Love the pictures Monica. How I would love to take our Silver beauty out for the holidays. But alas not this year.

  4. Your site is always so dreamy and inspirational! Our Airstream is at the beginning of a huge remodel…someday I hope it’s as wonderful as yours.
Can you tell me anything about that adorable vintage flowered tea cup? It’s just what I’m looking for….any pattern name or manufacturer?

Thanks and Merry Christmas from California!

    Laurel
